In 2023, we can expect to see more visual content, with platforms such as Instagram and Tik Tok leading way. Video became an increasingly popular form of content on social media in 2022, and this year we can expect to see more businesses using video leveraging this trend to create more engaging and interactive content.
  2. Accessibility and Inclusivity: Social media platforms will continue to focus on accessibility and inclusivity in 2023. This will include making their platforms more accessible for users with disabilities, such as providing alternative text for images, closed captions for videos, and larger text options. Additionally, social media platforms will also focus on creating a more inclusive environment for all users, including marginalized communities. This will include implementing stricter policies against hate speech, bullying and harassment, and increasing representation and visibility of underrepresented groups. Businesses can get on board by creating inclusive and diverse content that appeals to a wide range of audiences.

While I don’t believe that AI will ever be a worthy replacement for the authenticity and empathy of content created by a human copy writer it’s certainly an area of technology business owners need to explore and utilise.
